What Is So Good About the Fate Series?

Fate series is a battle between people who have conflicts for their beliefs and customs. Although they face difficulty in such scenarios, they try their best to cope up with the circumstances.

The protagonist of the series is a very nice boy having all great qualities. But the other characters are always greedy of grant.

Usually, there is no happy ending. The cameraman captures every scene so beautifully that the battle happening or the characters fighting can be seen very clearly.

There are various characters having different relations and bonds. It’s really interesting to watch all the episodes because you can get to know about all the characters and their nature.

How many fate series are there?

There are almost 14 fate series.

Fate anime series order:

Watching all the series in order can give you a different vibe. The first series was based on fate and luck. The second series was based on the route of the game design. The third was based on a light novel which was approximately set 10 years back. Next was based on an RPG. The last one was based on a set of parallel universes.

Fate anime series chronological order:

In chronological order you can watch Fate/Zero, Fate/stay the night (including Unlimited Blade Works and Heaven’s Feel), and Fate/EXTRA. However, the settings are vaguely different.

Fate/Zero (2011-2012)

Fate Zero is the first series in chronological order. The event depicted in this series is the Fourth Holy Grail War. The entire series will revolve around the battle, fight, bloodshed and war.

Fate/stay night (2006)

This is a visual novel as the anime didn’t do justice to the story plot. It only covers the first route of the storyline. There is no explanation of significant characters in the anime. All the characters that are discussed are underdeveloped. You can check this light novel but you will not get entrained by this as you can by watching other series.

Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (2010/2014-2015)

There are two different anime series and films but have the same names. Both of them have the same storyline and purpose. This series is depicting the second route of the story.

The route tells us detailed information about the protagonist and his servant. The huge difference between anime and film is that their timings are different.

Both of them were released on different dates. The film comprises 2 hours only and the anime lasts 26 episodes. If you want to watch a series with a cup of coffee then go for anime. If you are a quickie then go for a film.

Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel (2017)

This episode is a trilogy of films. This film will explain the third and final route of the story. These minor characters are the center of attention. In this all you will get to see side characters in a proper form.

Because of the monetary constraints, it was difficult to explain these characters in previous episodes. Don’t skip this anime as you will miss a lot of fun, action, and adventure.

Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA ILLYA (2013-2016)

This series is all about magic tricks. Here the main character is a female who loves to learn magic. In this, you will get to know about all the women’s capabilities and strength.

In my opinion, the first Fate/Stay Night is disliked by the audience. The most loved anime of the viewers is Unlimited Blade Works.

All the Fate universe lovers if you want to enjoy it start watching from the very first light novel Type-Moon. In this, there are different games and genres discussed through which you can easily get different ideas. You can also come up with some unique game with different purposes once you read it and watch the entire anime series.
